Scenic Gansbaai Spring Hike: 14 September 2024
As Mike said, "Spring has sprung and the grass is green!" On Saturday, 14 September 2024, we took on a beautiful hike in the mountains above Gansbaai, starting at the Panorama Wedding Venue. The views over Franskraal and Gansbaai were amazing, but first, we had to tackle a steep 800-meter climb! With lots of huffing and puffing, we all made it to the top.
We took a well-earned break at Brandewyn Vlei, with stunning views over Walker Bay.
A big thank you to Henry Geldenhuys for leading the hike and organizing everything, and to Dirk Staal, our sweeper, for making sure no one was left behind.
