A Remarkable Story About The Place We Call Home

Over the last few years, we have connected with world-renowned experts from various fields that led us to learn something incredible about our surrounding area. 

It has given us a glimpse into how the Cape Floral Kingdom and the Walker Bay coastline, which we call home, have played a role in the evolution of early modern humans 150,000 years ago. 

At Grootbos, we have always had a natural curiosity to learn about our surroundings and to be deeply connected to our environment and the people who live here. When we learned about this story we knew we wanted to capture it, so we created this short documentary.

We are excited to share it with you as it celebrates the significance of this unique area and the profound impact it has on all who experience it. Take a moment to watch this fascinating documentary and discover more about this remarkable area we call home.
