
Empowering Minds Through Positive Self-Talk
This week, participants in our Ikamva Community-Based Treatment Programme explored the stories we tell ourselves and how our thoughts influence the way we feel and act. Using a creative activity, participants covered one head with negative thought stickers and another with positive ones, helping to visualise how self-talk can shape our mindset. Together, we practised replacing unhelpful thoughts with kinder, more encouraging ones. Before leaving, each participant committed to noticing and practising one positive thought about themselves this week, a small step that can make a big difference in building confidence and resilience.
