In early March during his 2013 Budget speech, Alan Wilde Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, proclaimed that there will be definite investments made in infrastructure this year. More than R1.7 million has been laid out to ensure the building and maintenance of our roads. One of the new projects for this year will be the upgrade of the road between Gansbaai and Elim.
The upgrade of this road would of course lead to more traffic through the area and also make it easy travelling for the farmers and inhabitants of the Elim and Gansbaai area. We eagerly await the changes and support mr Winde’s notion that the province’s leaders should join hands in the interests of encouraging better lives for all our people.
