Does your aging parent live alone in their home and you are worried sick that they could have a nasty fall out in the garden and be rendered helpless and unable to get help? Is your precious daughter a student who has to walk to her residence after dark and could run the risk of falling prey to loiterers in a dark alley? Does your wife go jogging solo along the coast first thing in the morning and you feel nervous about all the bushes and who they may be concealing along the route?

Above are just a few of the worst-case scenarios that could befall anyone, anytime and at any place. R50 a month is all it takes to keep you and your loved ones safe in the event of a debilitating accident or a life-threatening attack. The G-Buddy may look like a little guy, but it is backed by the strength of one of South Africa’s leading security companies, Secma International Security. The G-Buddy is a friend you just can’t do without, as well as a gadget that could very well end up saving a life.

Who exactly is this G-Buddy?

The G-buddy is a revolutionary panic button and tracking device all in one and probably the best friend you could have with you in the case of a serious and even life-threatening emergency. This rubberized gadget is water resistant and so small and light that it can be worn as a neck pendant under your clothing. Although the concept isn’t new and similar devices were previously used as a monitoring system between family members, this is the first time that it is being brought to you as a fully monitored product. Secma International Security offers you a panic alert and tracking device all in one, which makes it all the more reason to acquire this essential piece of self-defence paraphernalia.

How does the G-Buddy Work?

Secma provides you with your G-Buddy and it works with a SIM card that has been pre-installed and registered with Secma International Security. The device has two-way communication with Secma International Security allowing controllers to monitor your whereabouts and ensuring that the closest respondent will be minutes away from rescuing you at any given time. In the case of an abduction, The G-Buddy will continue to send out a signal allowing Secma International Security to follow your every move until you are rescued. Your G-Buddy comes with a neat docking station that makes for easy charging.

What makes G-Buddy better than using your phone to call for help?

Often the first thing that gets lost, stolen or broken in a mugging, abduction or accident is a cell phone. Coupled with this, the G-Buddy is so small that you can alert Secma International Security and the armed response unit without alerting or angering your attackers.

Who can use G-Buddy?

Secma International  Security feels strongly about the safety of each and every member of our community and is making the G-Buddy accessible to everyone whether they are existing clients or not. Existing Secma clients pay a once off fee of R1,500 for the device and after that R50 per month. Non Secma members pay R1,650 and R150 per month, thereafter. Contact Secma International Security Gansbaai directly on 087 250 2744 for more information.

Rest assured that you and your loved ones can count on Secma International Security when you need them most, anytime of the day or night regardless how large or small your security problem may seem.
