DIY: Installing Curtain Rails
Simple step-by-step demonstration on how to install a curtain rail. Get it done right, and add comfort and character to your living space.
Step 1: Measure the length of the curtain and the length of the curtain rail.
Step 2: Mark off the height position of the curtain rail.
Step 3: Using a spirit level mark a horizontal line at the height position and mark off the drill holes.
Safety is very important, never drill above or below an electric fitting. Always avoid working above your head.
Step 4: Using a drill bit, drill the holes to the depths of the screw plug and mount the rail.
