Recently there has been even more activity at Claws & Paws than usual. Added to the owner, Yasmeen Khan’s day-to-day pet grooming services, are around-the-clock pet shenanigans of a different kind. What’s been happening is that Yasmeen has been hard at work being a foster mom to a husky mamma and her seven fur babies.
Puppies - Puppies - Everywhere!
Seven husky puppies and their mom have been taken care of by Yasmeen who says that her role as a foster mom has kept her quite busy. Although the little ones have been quite a handful, watching them grow from strength to strength has been so very rewarding. However, it wasn’t all plain sailing. The runt of the litter had been terribly ill with lung issues in the beginning when they first arrived at Claws & Paws, and it was touch-and-go for a while. Thankfully, the little girl’s wheezing chest cleared up and she is now just as active, if not more, as her brothers and sisters are.
Loving Homes
After four months and with heaps of love (and a whole lot more patience than can be put into words), the puppies are ready to move on to their new forever homes. Happily, all the pups have been placed with families who will cherish them.
