New Life Woodwork

Butterfly Effect

It has been quite a surprise. New Life Woodwork has had more likes and shares in one week for one of our posts than we have for most of our projects.

It started out as a rustic pallet table. A nice long tabletop with two benches, comfortably seating six people - and eight if you add a couple of single chairs. But Atelier John decided to be more creative. He gradually sanded and smoothed the rustic surfaces until they were seamless. He reinforced the corners and structure. Then he created an amazing whitewash effect that brings out an almost pinkish hue in the wood. What makes it look unique is that you can see the rustic base, yet this table and bench set would look equally beautiful indoors as a dining table, or outdoors for patio entertaining. We posted our pictures on Facebook and got more than four thousand likes and plenty of shares. Time to list the table for sale!
