Whale Watching Season in Gansbaai

We're thrilled to announce the much-awaited arrival of Whale Watching Season in Gansbaai!

From June through November, the clear waters off Gansbaai become a playground for magnificent Southern Right Whales. These gentle giants migrate annually from Antarctica to the warmer coastal waters of South Africa to breed and have their babies, offering guests at Bellamente Sirene Guesthouse a front-row seat to this awe-inspiring display of nature.

Imagine heading to our shared deck, where you can see panoramic views of the ocean. From this spot, you can watch these graceful creatures jumping and playing in the water just beyond our shores.

While one of the main attractions is definitely the whales, Gansbaai has a lot more to offer during this season. Take advantage of clear winter skies perfect for stargazing, enjoy local food with fresh seafood, or explore the rocky coastline on scenic hikes. Bellamente Sirene Guesthouse is the perfect place to experience everything this magical region has to offer.

Don't miss out on this amazing chance to see nature up close. Book your stay today!
