Messier 17, Messier 18, Cat's Paw & Lobster Nebula Astrophotography
Tried to rework these four iconic DSO's, but the weather was having none of it.
Was looking forward to a few hours of dark skies prior to the Moon clearing the eastern horizon, but within an hour or so of setting up, the mist rolled in.
Messier 17 and 18 are just a 40-minute total stack of 60 second subs while the Cat’s Paw Nebula or NGC 6334 and NGC 6357 the Lobster Nebula is a scant 10 minutes of data collected.
