Next Dyer Island Marine Big 5 Tour: 6 December 2022

What a beautiful start to this week! Not only have we seen a Bryde whale this morning, but also Bottlenose dolphins, Humpback dolphins, Bronze Whaler sharks, thousands of Cape Fur seals and their young pups and endangered African penguins.

We still have availability for Dyer Island Marine Big 5 whale watching tomorrow (Tuesday, 6 December 2022):

Meeting Time: 09h15

#DYK

Bryde's whales breed in alternate years. Their gestation period is estimated at 12 months. Calves are about 3.4–4.0 m long at birth and weigh 1,000 kg. They become sexually mature at 8–13 years of age when females are 12 m. The mother nurses for 6–12 months.

Come and experience the wonder of the sea with us!
