“What a brilliant experience. Thank you. The crew worked so hard to look after us all (even the sick ones!) And seeing how well the sharks are being looked after was amazing. We loved it!” - Andrew and Deborah
Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seals, Southern right whales
Trip Summary: We were finally back on the water after a day of being landbound due to strong winds and high swells! The sun was shining, and so were the sharks! It didn’t take long before we had our first sightings of Bronze Whaler sharks, both from the boat and from inside the cage. The sharks came incredibly close to our divers, and the action remained constant throughout the trips, making for a truly spectacular experience. We were also treated to the sight of a Cape fur seal hunting mullet! A huge thank you to all our guests who joined us today for bringing your excitement, curiosity, and great questions!
