We had active and relaxed whales during the day. While the sun was rising, we headed towards Pearly Beach to find some whales.
Throughout the day, we had curious whales coming close to our vessel, mating groups and we spotted breaching Southern Right Whales in the distance. On our third trip of the day we were really lucky and got to see a sunfish, as we don’t see them very often during the season. Of course we also stopped at Geyser Rock, just behind Dyer Island, to view the seal colony.
On the way back towards the Kleinbaai harbour we also spotted one little African Penguin.
We certainly had a Whale of a time.
