We are excited to share the good news. On the 23rd of June Dyer Island Cruises saw two Southern Right Whales - a sign that the long awaited whale season is finally here.
Join our state of the art vessel, Dream Catcher on an adventure to find the Marine Big 5 of the Dyer Island Nature Reserve. During the two hour trip, our crew sets out to spend time with the Southern Right whales and maybe spot a Bryde's whale as well. After that we travel to Dyer Island to see the endangered African Penguin and pass by Geyser Rock to enjoy the playful Cape Fur seals in their masses. Dream Catcher will also pass by our sister company, Marine Dynamics' vessel Slashfin, to view the iconic Great White Shark. With luck we might also spot one of three types of Dolphins in the bay (Bottlenose, Common and Humpback). While viewing these amazing sightings, the Marine Biologist on board will also educate everyone about the greater Dyer Island eco-system. Get spoiled with a warm bowl of soup while watching the footage, taken by our videographer on board, when you are back on land and relaxing in front of a cosy fire at The Great White House.
