Lomond believes in the upliftment of communities and the natural enviroment. They have won many awards for their great quality and truly unique wines. The estate’s maiden vintage SMV 2013 (Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Viognier) achieved a coveted Double Gold medal, and it's Conebush Syrah 2011 received a Gold medal. Silver medals were also awarded to its SSV 2014, as well as to seven of it's other white wines.
If you feel like treating yourself and your loved ones, be sure to visit the tasting facility on Farm 215, a private nature reserve with a luxury guest-house overlooking the dam and vineyards of Lomond. Here you can enjoy the taste of the view!
Lomond has been a genourous sponsor and supporter of the Annual Baardskeerdersbos Christmas Party hosted by The Skills Exchange Cooperative (SEC) and the Baardskeerdersbos Community Development Organization (BCDO) for many years.
Lomond has hosted The Music & Movement Program, now known as LEAP, for the last 4 years on the estate, supplying them with a classroom and many other neccessaties in order to run the programm as succesful as possible.
