Fynbos History
After refurbishing a historic church building in Mossel Bay to include a Victorian-inspired conservatory, former accountant Naideen Hickman realised her dream to own a lifestyle emporium and opened Fynbos Mossel Bay in 1993. What was at first a shop selling gifts and homeware, became so popular that Naideen opened her inhouse coffee shop in 1994.
