Directions from Cape Town

Where is Caledon once you leave the Cape Town Airport (or even the CBD)? It’s easy, take the Settlers Way/N2 on through Strand/Somerset West and over Sir Lowry’s Pass. You will pass through Grabouw / Elgin and Houw Hoek, keep looking out for the sign posts on the right that say Caledon and then turn into Prince Alfred Road once you see them. The trip shouldn’t take more than an hour and a half depending on traffic and weather.

Directions from Garden Route

Directions to Caledon from the Garden Route are also very straightforward. On departure from the George Airport head northwest and turn right onto the R404, follow this road for 119km and then turn right to merge onto the N2. Continue straight for a further 189km and then look out for the signs to Caledon. Turn left into Hoop Street/R316 and then right onto Price Alfred Road to enter the town. The journey shouldn’t be longer than three hours depending on traffic and weather.
