Learn To Sew Course

A 6-week course which introduces you to the basics of sewing and how to use your sewing machine.

You’ll be taken through all the basic techniques needed to do sewing. We’ll teach you how to set up and thread your sewing machine and how to sew in straight seams. 

You will also discover how to sew pockets, insert various types of zips and hems, buttonholes, how to sew buttons using your sewing machine and more!

The course covers all the most important sewing techniques. It takes place once a week over the 6 weeks. Each class is three (3) hours.

By the end of this course, you will:

• Have an introduction on how to use a sewing machine

• Have learned different sewing tools and techniques

• Have learned different sewing tools and techniques

• Have discovered how to read and use basic sewing patterns and

• Know the basic foundational principles of putting a garment together.

Once you have mastered a sewing machine, the possibilities are endless: make your own clothes, placemats, tablecloths, napkins, bags, gifts or even handbags. Create your own sewing projects!
