Housing Register Verification and Update

Please see the advert below for times and dates when you will be able to verify and update your information. 

Anyone who complies with the criteria listed below can participate by visiting the mentioned venue. Only one application per household will be accepted. 

You are encouraged to visit the below venues to: 

• Confirm that you still have a housing need

• Ensure that all information is correct (see below)

• Update information any relevant information (see below)

• Give people who never registered on the housing demand database, the opportunity to register

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION:

• Be a South African citizen

• Be 18 years and older

• Be married or habitually cohabit with a long-term partner

• Be single and have financial dependents

• Earn between R0-R3 500 gross income per month per household. Persons earning more than R3 500 can register for Finance Linked Subsidies

• Not have received a government subsidy for housing before

• Not have registered property past or present
