Interesting Facts About Kanga Roller Ranges

On my recent installation in Vermont, the client chose the Kanga roller fabric for the bigger stacking doors and windows. Here are some interesting facts on this type of fabric:

1. Kanga indicates a 100% density property making it a total blockout fabric.

2. This range consists of 100% polyester (PVC free) with an acrylic coat making them extremely strong.

3. As it contains no PVC content it is environmentally friendly and therefore earned the golden Greenguard certification.

4. X link, also know as "cross-linking" is a technology that chemically bonds the thick acrylic coating onto the polyester basecloth. This yields a stronger more stable blind that will stay flexible in hot and cold conditions, outlasting most other fabrics.

Also, it is anti-fade fabric, which means that it will have a higher standard of fade resistance over the life of the blind, however, it does not mean that it will never fade.
