Statement on Accelerated Service Delivery Visit to Botrivier
Today Theewaterskloof's acting municipal manager Boy Manqoba Ngubo along with the municipality's senior management team conducted their second town visit as part of the Municipal Manager’s Accelerated Service Delivery Programme.
Today the administration conducted a site visit in ward 7 and was accompanied by ward councillor Mieke Plato-Mentoor, PR councillor Michele Mathews and acting town manager Jumaine Eksteen.
The key issues discussed were the housing backlog, septic tanks, gap housing possibilities, funding opportunities, vandalism, and stormwater and road upgrades.
Two community meetings will be held next week in the Botrivier Community Hall to provide feedback and solutions within practical timelines.
Further information regarding the meetings will be communicated via our social media platforms, Collab Citizen App and ward committee groups.
The Municipal Manager’s Accelerated Service Delivery Programme is an initiative that will address challenges and backlogs by meeting with the ward councillors and managers on the ground, in each town.
