Highlights:

Relocation of the Long-Distance Bus Stop

• Busses are being relocated to Fresh Stop, with implementation in progress.

Issues Raised by Stakeholders and Product Owners

• Upgrade needed for tourism-related street and road signs.

• Discussion on new "Welcome to Caledon" boards; tender process pending.

• Concerns about non-registered accommodation and development red tape addressed.

Feedback from Busisiwe from World Travel Market (WTM)

• Success at WTM; suggestion to consider a TWK stand next year.

• Need for local fam packages and tour packages for Hermanus guests.

• TWK Municipality working on a new Tourism strategy with BBM's involvement.

• Increasing interest in filming in TWK; suggestion to streamline the approval process.

Feedback from Beyond Black Mountain NPC

• Office hours and need for air conditioner sponsorship.

• New website preview and accommodation enquiry system.

• Introduction of Mr. Manqoba ‘Boy’ Ngubo as new director.

• Plans for International Public Arts Festival in Caledon.

• Updates on zipline project and other local initiatives.
