Met Vadersdag om die draai het ons dit goed gedink om met ‘n paar boerepa’s in die gemeenskap te gesels. Die eerste hiervan was Jan Fick van Vaalplaas, naby Caledon. Hierdie plaas is die tuiste van die Fick-familie vir al meer as tweehonderd jaar (ses geslagte). Volgens Jan, is ons land se landbousektor is in goeie hande met vandag se jeug, omdat daar goeie belangstelling is, en ‘n wil om beter te boer. Om meer te lees oor wat Jan dink oor die rol van die jeug en pa's in die Suid-Afrikaanse landbousektor, besoek ons webtuiste.
