#FastTipTuesday: Steel vs Plastic Paint Containers
Did you know that different types of paint are stored in different containers making it easy to spot an oil-based vs water-based paint at a glance?
Steel Containers: Used for oil / solvent-based paints where the diluent is for example mineral turpentine or thinners.
Plastic Containers: Used for water-based paints like PVA.
If you decant your paint and need to store leftovers in a smaller container - make sure you choose a vessel in the right material.
