Eugene Wood from Gansbaai Fitness in action at Stanfords Cove

Exercise is the miracle cure we’ve always had, but for too long we’ve neglected to take our recommended dose. Our health is now suffering as a consequence. Whatever your age, there's strong scientific evidence that being physically active can help you lead a healthier and even happier life. People who do regular activity have a lower risk of many chronic diseases, such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke and some cancers. Research shows that physical activity can also boost self-esteem, mood, sleep quality and energy, as well as reducing your risk of stress, depression, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. With summer nearly here we all want to look and feel good.

What better way to get started by joining us and exercising out in nature, overlooking the beautiful scenery that we have here in Gansbaai? For three weeks commencing Saturday 9th November at 07:30, Gansbaai Fitness will be holding boot camps (exercise with a difference) at Stanfords Cove.

So whether you are on holiday or live here, whether you’re old or young, fit or unfit, big or small, there will be something for each and every person. These sessions will be tailored at getting you into shape and looking good and definitely feeling better about yourself! So whatever your goals are or your reasons for exercising, why not join us and have a good time with like-minded people. These Boot Camps will be on Tuesday evenings at 18:30 and a session on a Saturday morning at 07:30 so whether you want to join us once or twice a week it’s totally up to you. Your first lesson will be absolutely free of charge (thereafter R20.00 per session) and the session will last approximately 40 minutes and the only things that you will need to bring along with you is a towel, a bottle of water and the desire to be healthy.
