Youth Day Celebrations
Jolande Sauls, Manager of Ikamva Youth Development, organized Blompark’s Youth Day celebrations and prepared and executed a full and lively program for Youth Day celebrations. Ikamva’s Community Hall was used for the special event. The celebrations involved large numbers of adults and children, who thoroughly enjoyed the day.
A variety of items were presented: Health education; a Gansbaai Community Police Forum stall, as well as Gansbaai SAPS Victim Support information; Testing for HIV and other tests; Family planning; Special guests sharing their experiences with drugs, etc; Lots to eat and drink for everyone and much more to do.
