Apart from all the activities that Gansbaai is well known for – (and if you don’t know what they are do come to the Tourism Info Centre and we will gladly tell you) – the famous Baardskeerdersbos Art Route is taking place on Saturday and Sunday and there is also a Bazaar in Pearly Beach on Saturday.
Easter egg hunt at the Bureau from 10h00-12h00 for the young ones. Find the goose that lays the golden egg and win a special prize.
We are situated at the entrance to the White Shark Junction (Spar centre). We are in the process of doing some upgrades to the display area and the building but we will still be able to furnish you with all the info you require. The Bureau will be closed on Good Friday but open the rest of the weekend. The afterhours number is 0722915564 in case of urgent info needed.
Easter is a special event on the Christian calendar and the churches in the area all have Easter services and everyone is welcome to attend. The times can be found in this Courant or from the staff at the Bureau.
.Lede in Christus Gansbaai presents Nadine Blom on the evening of the 19th at 18h00.
The famous annual Passion Play takes place in Hermanus, at the old harbour, on Good Friday at 20h00.
Stanford’s Sunset Market takes place on their Market square on Friday 19th from 18h00-20h00.
On the 26th of April Laerskool Gansbaai has a Potjiekos competition.
Advance notice – mark the date in your diary as Gansbaai is going to be THE PLACE to be from the 12th -14th September. A Funky Fynbos Festival (including a MTB race and trail run) as well as a Culinary Experience with live entertainment.
