Celebrating Conservation, Research and Growth

We are absolutely delighted by the success of Leon Kluge’s Chelsea Flowers in Stanford and Stanford in Bloom! These inspiring projects saw the entire village come together to celebrate fynbos, gardening, and the conservation of wild places like our own Walker Bay region.

Meanwhile, back at Grootbos Foundation, our day-to-day work has continued with dedication. From research to youth development and skills programmes, our teams remain hard at work making a lasting impact.

Here’s a glimpse from the past two weeks, starting with Under the Microscope, where our Entomology team has been studying hawkmoths, fascinating creatures specially adapted for the nocturnal sipping of nectar.

Every initiative, big or small, helps us protect biodiversity and empower communities.
