Welcome to Our New Volunteers, Charlotte and Katharina!

We’re excited to welcome Charlotte (left) and Katharina (right), two passionate volunteers spending time with us at the Grootbos Foundation!

Charlotte, 19, joins us from Frankfurt, Germany. She recently finished school and is taking a gap year before starting university. Volunteering in the Communications Department and at the lodge, Charlotte hopes to contribute wherever she can and find inspiration for the future in this beautiful environment.

Katharina, 25, comes from Augsburg in southern Germany. With a background in landscape architecture and conservation, she’s joining our Conservation Department to gain new hands-on experience after completing her studies.

We’re so grateful to have you both on the team. Welcome to Grootbos!
