Grootbos Nursery Expansion and Sundowner Sessions
The Green Futures Nursery is expanding and moving to a new site; soon the indigenous wholesale nursery will operate from a space neighbouring Grootbos Nature Reserve. Here, the team is beginning to propagate new plants. Indigenous nursery and landscaping services will continue by appointment with nursery manager, Sharlene. Grootbos Foundation hosted the first talk in a new series of monthly talks called Sundowner Sessions. Master Nature Guide and trainer, Grant Hine, spoke of his experience of nature and the profound impact that a nature connection has on our health and human experience. These monthly talks are a way for Grootbos Foundation to share the stories of our work and the stories of those passionate locals, researchers and colleagues who inspire us.
