Newsletter #4 Now Available - March 2026

The latest Overberg Geoscientists Group (OGG) Newsletter #4 is out now, packed with updates on upcoming presentations, excursions, conferences and events for 2026.

Highlights include:

• The 2026 Gold Presentation Series with weekly Zoom talks during March and April.

• A special presentation on the Geological History of the Onrus River in June.

• Upcoming OGG excursions, including the Onrus River Valley field trip (6 June) and the Greater Worcester and Hex River Valley geology excursion (4–6 September).

• The launch of a Fossil and Mineral Collection Display at Harold Porter Gardens in Betty’s Bay.

• Information about major geoscience conferences happening in South Africa and internationally.

OGG continues to promote geoscience education, knowledge sharing and mentorship, welcoming members from all backgrounds - including students and anyone interested in geology.
