Here at Health and Active we do not waste time with calorie counting. We believe in good hearty full fat recipes. We strip back recipes to the basics, making everything from scratch. After all, how do you know what you are really eating unless you make it yourself!

Another Breakfast recipe to get your brain going in the mornings! Also perfect as a snack.

Perhaps not as quick as eggs in the mornings, but seriously packed full of flavor, and a great snack for any lunch box!


500g of Organic full fat mince of your choice (grass fed is best)
2 Large Organic Eggs
1 Large Organic Onion
1 Large pinch of Himalayan Rock Salt (fine), and Pepper
A generous knob
For those that like a bit of a kick x1 large Organic Red Chili


  1. Throw literally everything but the butter into a large blender.  Blend until everything is ground.
  2. Add your generous knob of butter to a deep non-stick frying pan on a low heat.  The butter should melt and cover the base of the pan
  3. Take butter off the heat
  4. This is where it gets messy!  Roll your mixture into small balls (should cover the palm of your hand, pat to make slightly flat). Place in the pan with the butter.
  5. Place pan back on hob and cook on a low heat.  Cook thoroughly until meat is no longer red on the inside.

Enjoy hot or cold
