On the 10th of October 2021, after months of planning, the Strandloper Project coastal research team embarked on their third expedition.

The 175km hike from Arniston to Hermanus is to monitor plastic pollution along the coastal route’s shoreline. 

The Perlemoen Trail feels privileged to accommodate the Strandloper team throughout their stay.
