49 creative, feisty people full of ideas pitched their business plans to 2 selection panels this week. Panellists included Simone and Monica from the Grootbos Foundation's Entrepreneurship programme, as well as small business owners, committee members from the Hermanus Rotary Club and local community leaders from Gansbaai and Stanford. Everyone who attended the training workshops was invited to pitch their business concepts in order to reach the next level of the programme, in which successful businesses will be awarded 12 months of mentorship and small grants.
Anticipation is growing as we wait to hear which business pitches will be selected for the mentorship/ grant funding step.
