Ons is regtig bevoorreg om in hierdie pragtige plek te woon en dit maak ons taak van bemarking soveel makliker. Die besoekers wat die vakansietyd hier deurgebring het, het hul tydjie geniet en natuurlik die walvisse bekoor almal tot Novembermaand toe.
Things are happening at the Bureau. The interior has been painted, shelves put up and we are busy putting interesting photos and information on the walls. September is Tourism Month and the bureau is planning a variety of activities with the theme of be a tourist in your own town. All the details will be in the Gansbaai Courant and on our face book.

Die naweek van 12-14 September is daar groot feestelikheid in Gansbaai. Die Funky Fynbosfees vind in die Uilkraalvallei plaas en die Foodie Meander op die 13de hier in die dorp. Indien jy ‘n bergfiets entoesias is of van “trail running” hou, maak seker dat jy vir die twee wedlope daardie naweek inskryf. The Foodie Meander takes us back to our childhood days - the old safari dinners. One buys a ticket for R250 for a 3 course meal and each course is at a different restaurant. Die ontwikkelingskomitee is ook weer besig om die tuinkompetisie in Blompark te reël. Verlede jaar was daar 12 inskrywings en ons verwag hierdie jaar nog meer. Daar is twee afdelings: een vir groente en een vir blomme.
