German Lewis van Gansbaai Primêr het Saterdag 'n derdeplek in die seuns 0/12 WP Landloop Kam-pioenskappe te George behaal. Hy het 3 km in 10 min 25 sek afgedraf en stof in die oë van 80 deelnemers geskop.

Sy afrigter, Corrie Avenant, is trots op sy prestasie en glo dat German nog groot hoogtes kan bereik. Hy neem vanaf 11 - 13 September aan Atletiek Suid-Afrika (ASA) se kampioenskappe te George deel.

Enige donasies om sy koste van R3200 vir die ASA byeenkoms te dek sal opreg waardeer word. Skakel Corrie by 084 8322 991.
