The Perlemoen Green Flag slackpac-king hiking trail, now also offer a guided three day cycling trail and a three day running trail with catered as well as self-catering options.
Karen Anderson, owner of Perlemoen Hiking trail, said that she received so many queries from runners and cyclists that she decided to explore more options than just hiking for the Perlemoen as cycling and running a hiking trail is a very popular pastime internationally.
These trails are for the very fit as well as the not so fit where you can take a break to look at the panoramic views, watch the whales or look at the various fynbos. Cycle or run through a wonderland of flowers and fynbos where the view will blow your mind. Follow the rocky coast and remote white sandy beaches where there is ample opportunity to swim in rock pools or surf the waves. You are bound to see dolphins playing in the surf, seals scattering over rocky shores as well as the endangered Black Oyster Catcher (Swart Tobie) and multitudes of other sea life.
Groups must consist of at least 5 cyclists or runners.
