Tydens die onlangse “moeilike” weersomstandighede, het vissersbote weer getoon dat hulle saamstaan in noodgevalle. Die Borderer van die Knobles van Struisbaai se bootenjin het op Donderdag, 15 Januarie 2015 probleme ontwikkel pas nadat Gansbaai hawe verlaat is.
Hulle moes inderhaas anker afgooi om te verhoed dat die boot op die rotse beland met die sterk wind wat gewaai het. Vleigans van Louis Groenewald het die gevaar gesien en die Borderer tot hulp gekom en na veiligheid in die hawe gesleep. Dankie aan Boetie Ramsauer en Johan van Dyk wat Gansbaai Courant gekontak het.
