What to do if you find a stranded Penquin or Seabird. First of all remember the Penguin Rescue Line: 072-598-7117.
A penguin on the beach or on the rocks outside a colony is normally a penguin in trouble.
Keep dogs away! Do not feed the bird!
Do not put the bird back into the water!

Minister Hannekom het onder andere gesê: “Projects of this nature are about the common good - good for the environment, good for the community and good for the country as a whole.”
“The partnership with DICT has been one of our most rewarding sustainability projects we have been involved with in South Africa….The impact that the DICT is making with its work with Marine Big 5 - African Penguin, Great White Shark, seals, dolphins and whales will have meaningful impact for generations to come.”
