Academia’s Participation the annual Language Bonanza

These Sharkies (Gansbaai Academia) participated in the Language Bonanza which was held in Caledon on the 3rd of September 2015. At the Language Bonanza learners were divided into their chosen categories, which were a Grammar test, Poster design, Electronical Photograph, Slam poetry and a written mini-saga.

Three Sharkies obtained prizes at the prize giving ceremony held on that same day. The learners were Sibongile Makhiva, Luntu Moss and Johan van der Merwe. There were a lot of schools that took place and these 3 learners were placed in the following: Sibongile Makhiva placed 3rd in the Slam poetry, Luntu Moss placed 2nd in the written mini-saga, Johan van der Merwe placed 1st in the Electronical Photograph.
