Gansbaai Academia Marine Science Club, an initiative of the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, is a group of learners that attends extra classes each week after school. Each week the learners do activities and tests about the ocean and all living organisms and animals in the ocean.
During the October holiday Jacques Prins, a grade 10 learner, took part in the Young Marine Biologist Course at the Two Oceans Aqua-rium. The course included tests, presentations and practical work.
Jacques received an average of 80% and still has to complete 55 practical hours during the December holiday. We are very proud of him.
