Gansbaai Family Church held a golf day and Valentines dinner / Dance at the Gansbaai golf club on the 13th February. Both these functions were well supported and we would like to thank the following for their support by means of product or service to make this day as successful as it was.
Firstly, the Gansbaai Golf club itself for allowing us the use of the hall and all the equipment within the hall free of charge, then, thank you to Coca Cola for the cokes, S.A. Breweries for the beer and Raka Wines for the wine. Spar for the meat donated, Ole ice cream for the ice lollies and Chicken on Top for the chicken. All those who helped to decorate the hall and prepare the meal. Thank you to Leon and Dick for manning the bar for us. Staci and her group for the cabaret show. A special thanks to all those who bought tickets and attended the dinner / dance. Without your support this evening would not have been as successful as it was. If we have left anyone out we apologise and rest assured that any help and support was very much appreciated. While there wasn’t a big field on the golf course we are sure those that played enjoyed themselves and next time there will be more prizes for all.
A big thanks to those who did play and supported our fund raising effort. Thank you to the ladies who made the breakfast which was enjoyed by all. Then to round things off, we held a raffle with four meat hampers to the value of R1,200 as prizes. A special thanks here to Prime Cut Meats who supplied the meat at cost and prepared the hampers so beautifully. Again a big thanks to all who so willingly welcomed our ticket sellers into their houses and bought tickets. The four lucky winners were: H.Muller, Dalene Brand, Nicky Luit, and L.Netto.
