Altesaam 76 hengelaars het in koue, nat toestande deelgeneem aan verlede Saterdag se klubkompetisie.

Dertien hengelaars het 17 visse ingeweeg met ‘n totale massa van 30.68kg. Johan de Kock was die ster van die dag met die grootste vis en die swaarste sak.  ‘n Streenbras van 5.95kg het aan hom die wenposisie besorg.

Die Top 10 hengelaars was Juron Pratt met ‘n Steenbras van 5.75kg gevolg deur Alida Strydom, Deon Strydom, Johann Botha, Charles van der Merwe, Philip Fourie, Mario van der Westhuizen, André Roux en Francois Munnik.  Alida wen ook die dameskompetisie en Gerrie Barnard was die senior-wenner.

Die volgende kompetisie vind plaas op 20 Augustus.
