Die “soete” smaak van Goud was Laerskool Okkie Smuts in Stanford se Marimba-orkes  se beloning tydens die onlangse Overberg Eisteddfod op 13 Augustus 2016.

Wat hulle eer nog groter maak, is dat die Eisteddfod by hul eie skool aangebied is. Op die foto verskyn Laerskool Okkie Smuts se goud-wenners   vir  hul  Marimba-orkes,  met  voor  vlnr  Salmah  Sydow, Sindisiwe Makhamba, Nahum Plaatjies en Kelsey  Montagu.  Agter vlnr  is Sadé October, Nicole Dreyer, Imaan Sydaow, me. Felicity Beukes, Kia McKay, Jade Coetzee en Busiswa Mhlontlo.
