The 5th and final district league trial of the Overberg schools cross country season took place on Saturday, 13 August 2016 at the Motocross track outside Caledon on the R406 road to Genadendal.
Okkie Smuts Primary School in Stanford is proud with the performances of there cross country athletes during the race. One hundred and twenty three athletes aged between nine and nineteen years form eighteen schools in the Overberg education district participated on the day.
The next event will be the Western Cape Schools Cross Country Championship in Worcester this following Saturday, 27 August 2016.
