Die trote Gansie-skaakspan van Laerskool Gansbaai, 24 van hulle, het hulle Overberg-kleure vir skaak verwerf.   

Hierdie hele 2 dosyn leerders was gekies om Overberg tydens die Westelike Provinsie Skaaktoernooi van 27-29 Mei 2022 in Worcester te gaan verteenwoordig.

Die span het in geheel baie goed gevaar.  Anke Oosthuizen, Luandi van der Linde en Michaely Arends het 4 van hulle 6 wedstryde gewen - pragtig!  Elkeen van hierdie skaakspelers is met pragtige sertifikaat beloon - ‘2022 Wes-Kaapse Skoleskaak: Individuele Kampioenskappe’.
