Toy Run Overberg 2022 - A Cuddly Success!
The Gansbaai-based veteran motorcycle riders association, Dogs of War Overberg, would like to thank the Gansbaai community for their overwhelming support of the Toy Run Overberg 2022! The annual event was held on the 27th of November.
Gansbaai Stands Together To Break Record!
The participation was amazing! Dogs of War is proud to announce that Gansbaai broke the record for the most number of soft toys transported on one bike! An incredible 183 soft toys snuggled up together, and joined the ride which ended at the Birkenhead Brewery in Stanford!
The bikers even got to park the toy-adorned bike in the main area, to showcase Gansbaai’s generous contribution!
Getting Stronger By The Year
This year’s toy run was an incredible success, with even more soft toys collected than last year. Managed by Eddie Noble and his team, the event hosted over 500 bikers from all over the region at the brewery. Bikers from as far afield as Cape Town attended!

A special word of thanks goes to the organisers and everyone involved! Most importantly, the reason for the event was to ensure smiles are put onto children’s faces, and collectively the community managed to do just that!
