What is Star Search Overstrand
Reminiscent of America’s Got Talent but with a smidgen of the budget, Star Search Overstrand is a platform for talented youth to showcase their talents.
Auditions are underway with dates in Stanford, Gansbaai, Kleinmond and Hermanus. There is no entry fee, and the finals of Star Search Overstrand will happen at The Stanford Festival of Community Arts on the 7th of October, 2023.

Cash prizes are up for grabs, and the top performers will enjoy mentorship and performance opportunities.
For maximum exposure, this year’s Star Search Overstrand journey will air on Cape Town TV as a short documentary to ensure maximum exposure!
