Preserving Insect History
What’s so special about a blank sheet of cardboard? It’s not just a new beginning - it's history in the making! Last week, our entomology team received their first sheet of archival cardboard.
Why is this important? This cardboard will be used to create archival boxes that ensure the safe storage and longevity of our insect collection. Stored under optimal conditions, such as a temperature-controlled and low-humidity environment, these boxes can preserve our collection for many decades, benefiting future generations of entomologists.
