Entrepreneurship in Action!
Our recent Entrepreneurship Workshop took on a peer-mentorship approach, bringing together previously funded entrepreneurs, youth coaches, and young ECD teachers to learn with and from one another. These powerful knowledge exchanges often unlock learning in the most unexpected ways.

Meet Nobuntu, who has become an expert in hair weaves. Through careful business management, record-keeping, and marketing, she has quadrupled her income over the past 12 months.

And meet Mfundiso, who turned a setback into success. After losing his carpentry job in 2020, he built his own path. Today, he runs his own carpentry business and manages two successful spaza shops. His determination and growth are truly inspiring.
At Grootbos Foundation, we’re proud to walk alongside entrepreneurs like these, helping unlock potential and build sustainable livelihoods across our communities.
